Schools for classes 1 to 8 in TN will reopen by the end of September!!

For classes 9 to 12, the schools have reopened in Tamil Nadu from 1st September and the students have been attending classes with huge interest.
It is now revealed that a meeting would be held next week to discuss the possibilities of resuming classes for junior classes etc. The official sources have mentioned that the meeting would be held on Monday or Tuesday and schools might be reopened by the end of September month.
The pros and cons of reopening schools for the rest of the students would be discussed in the meeting that would have all the Chief Education Officers of CEO’s plus health officers etc. On the condition of anonymity, the Tamil Nadu government was planning to reopen schools for classes 1 to 8 by the September month end. This was according to a senior official belonging to the school education department.
He later spoke about how the Tamil Nadu government was not in a hurry to reopen schools for all the classes due to the risk of student’s safety. The spread of Covid-19 infection in the respective districts in TN would be taken into account in the proposed meeting by the CEOs. Information gathered is that there are chances to reopen schools for classes 6 to 8 and it would be decided after consulting the health department officials. Truth is that advice of the district collectors would be given importance. It is known that the district collectors have been working with the frontline workers in fighting the Coronavirus pandemic.
