Prospects of schools reopening of schools for students up to 8th Standard! Meeting on this by CEOs in Tamil Nadu!

A review and detailed consultant meeting is being organised by all the Chief Education Officers of the State Government of Tamil Nadu on 14th September to decide on the important issue of reopening of schools for the classes up to the 8th Standard.
Following the perceptible reduction in the spread od the raging resurgent coronavirus pandemic in the last few weeks, schools and colleges were reopened on 1st September. Classes are being conducted in schools for the students studying from 9th Standard to 12th Standard (+2).
The High-Level Committee of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has been reviewing the prospects of reopening schools for the classes up to the 8th Standard.
The Chief Secretary of the State Government of Tamil Nadu Iraiyanbu had a review meeting regarding this issue with the executives of the various departments yesterday (Wednesday, 8th September).
In this situation, the Commissioner for School Education Nandhakumar has announced that the review meeting for the Chief Education Officers (CEOs) is scheduled to be conducted on 14th September in Chennai Metro City.
In a circular sent by him to the CEOs that they must prepare a list of the activities to be undertaken by the School Education Directorate with details to participate in the above meeting proposed.
- Various issues such as
- Fixing the school fees for the private schools,
- Extension of the licence,
- The solutions for the various petitions received by the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister from your constituency,
- The list of unauthorized schools,
- Formation of a committee to deal with issues of sex-oriented issues,
- The training for the teachers
will all be discussed in detail during the above meeting.
The Chief Education Officers have been advised to prepare and bring the details regarding the various petitions received from the public by the Offices of the Prime Minister and Chief Minister.
The Officials of the Tamil Nadu State Government Department of School Education further informed that the details of the various arrangements to be made for the reopening of the primary and secondary schools / classes!
