Super info for those who applied for a new family ration card!

Information is gathered that work is in progress to print the new family rations for those who had applied for the same and found eligible
In the Elections held for the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly, the political party DMK won a majority of seats and formed the government. During the election campaign, DMK has promised that if voted to power it will arrange and issue family cards for those who have applied for new within 15 days!
Further, DMK had also announced that a monthly compensation of Rs. 1000/- will be distributed to all the housewives. As such, there has been a huge increase in the new applications for ration cards.
Further, during the period from May to July, 719895 citizens have applied for new smart family ration cards.
126414 citizens had applied in March, 157497 in June, and 261529 in July.
As regards the Chennai District, 49920 citizens had applied for new smart family ration cards from South Chennai. Out of this, 17728 applications were considered and 15687 citizens were given new smart family ration cards and news is gathered that printing is in progress for 2041 smart family ration cards.
In a similar trend, a huge number of citizens have applied for the new smart family ration cards in Coimbatore district and Salem district!
