Prospects for Waiver of jewellery loans in the budget?!

With the political party DMK having won the elections and forming the government is expected that the announcement of waiver for jewellery loan will be made shortly!
Meanwhile, the Department of Cooperatives has ordered all the Managing Directors of the Cooperative Banks to send a report with complete details of the jewellery, loans taken during the financial years 2018-19, 2019-20, and 2020-21.
The officials working in the Cooperative banks and Loan Associations are now contacting their customers who have taken jewellery loans through telephone and inform them to bring all the original documents regarding the jewellery loan taken and their Aadhar cards!
With the Tamil Nadu State Government Budget session set to commence shortly, it is expected that the official announcement regarding the waiver of jewellery loans taken under 5 sovereigns will be released!
