The Commissioner of Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) HAS WARNED THAT STICKING POSTERS ON THE WALLS OF GOVERNMENT PREMISES WILL LEAD TO IMMEDIATE STRINGENT LEGAL ACTION!
The practice of sticking posters all over the Chennai City spots including the bus-stop shelters, walls of the Chennai Corporation Buildings/premises, bridges and the Street Name Boards, and other public spots have been existent over the last several decades. THIS PRACTICE DEFINITELY LEADS TO SPOILING THE AESTHETIC APPEAL OF THE CHENNAI METRO CITY.
The Staff of GCC is deployed in removing them!
The Commissioner of GCC, Sugandeep Singh, informed that if this practice continues, stringent action will be taken on those sticking the posters!
Further, GCC Commissioner informed that in case the citizens of different localities observe that posters have been stuck in their localities, they can immediately call the telephone number 1913 and complain!
