New: The Public can now call / write about their grievances on the Commercial Tax Department!

An exclusive Grievance Centre has been set up in the Office of the Commissioner for Commercial Taxes located at Ezhilagam for the public to call/mail their grievances on issues related to commercial tax.
Further, an exclusive telephone number and e-mail address are ready and in operation.
In a notification released by the State Government of Tamil Nadu on this, it is mentioned:
To address the grievances of the public and traders regarding the Commercial Taxes, an exclusive section has been set up and is functioning from 1st July at the Office of the Commissioner for Commercial Taxes, Ezhilagam, Chepauk, Chennai - 600005.
The public and the traders can call the telephone number 044-28514250 on all working days from Monday to Friday except government holidays from 10.00 AM to 5.45 PM.
Further, the public and the traders can send their complaints by e-mail to the exclusive E-mail address ctdpetition@ctd.tn.gov.in."
