Lockdown Extension: New relaxations implemented!

With the relieving news of a substantial reduction in the extent of impact / spread of the raging resurgent coronavirus pandemic in the last few weeks, the prevailing lockdown has been extended by another week until 21st June!
However, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin had announced earlier that certain relaxations will be implemented in the districts where a substantial reduction in the impact / extent of the raging coronavirus spread.
Accordingly, certain new relaxations come into effect in 27 districts from today (Monday, 14th June).
· Beauty Parlours and Hair-Dressing salons will be allowed to function WITHOUT AIR-CONDITIONING AND WITH ONLY 50% CUSTOMERS FROM 6.00 AM TO 5.00 PM.
· Entertainment Parks can be used for walking exercises from 6.00 AM to 9.00 AM.
· Service shops for agricultural equipment and pump-set repairs, etc., can function from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM.
· Shops selling eye-glasses can function from 9.00 AM to 2.00 PM.
· TASMAC shops will remain open from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM.
· Shops selling construction-related equipment/items can function from 9.00 AM to 2.00 PM.
· Shops selling / servicing household consumer goods can operate from 9.00 AM to 2.00 PM.
· Information Technology-related firms can function BUT WITH ONLY 20% STAFF OR 10 PERSONS.
· Export-oriented organisations and fuel-production organisations can function BUT WITH 50% STAFF!
· Industries can function BUT WITH 35% STAFF STRICTLY FOLLOWING THE GUIDELINES!
· The administration department for admission of students in school/colleges/universities will be allowed to function.
· Housing Development organisations, non-banking financial establishments and Insurance companies can function BUT WITH 33% STAFF!
· Permission is granted for the employees working in various cadres of organisation to attend official duties travelling in 2-wheelers WITH E-REGISTRATION AND ORGANISATION ID PROOF!
· Shops selling pottery items and handicrafts will be allowed to operate until 6.00 PM.
