No need to run hereafter - Availability of beds etc for COVID patients can be got from the portal

Till now, the Covid-19 patients and their family members have been running from pillar to post for the sake of the ICU beds, oxygen supply and ventilators etc present at the hospitals in TN. Now, this issue would not be there.
It is now said that the stop Corona portal run by the health department would show the real time availability of the beds. This was highlighted by a senior officer belonging to the directorate of public health or DPH. In the initial stages, the availability of these mentioned above would be updated for every 2 to 3 hours and later it would reflect every admission and discharge, Point to be noted is that data about the availability of the beds in the government hospitals would also be provided.
People now are scrambling for beds as the number of daily cases has increased in Chennai. Shocking fact is that the fresh number of Coronavirus positive cases has gone above 4000 per day in Chennai. The issue is that there is no data available about the bed availability. As per Mr. Jayaram Venkatesan, a social activist, the Covid-19 patients must get the data easily. He added that currently there is no dashboard but just an excel file getting uploaded.
