Night lockdown imposition: List of restrictions and functioning services

100% Lockdown conditions have been imposed by the State Government of Tamil Nadu from 20th April (tomorrow, Tuesday) from 10.00 PM to 4.00 AM.
The resurgent coronavirus pandemic wave has been spreading quite fast and wide throughout the country! In this situation, the State Of Tamil Nadu also being one of the severely affected States, certain restrictions were imposed by the State Government of Tamil Nadu on 25th March!
With the increasing trend of the extent of impact/spread of the resurgent coronavirus pandemic in Tamil Nadu, the Chief Minister of the State of Tamil Nadu conducted a full-fledged review meeting regarding this situation with the Chief Secretary, and all other Senior Officials and Consultants on 12th April!
With the above status, as there has been a sudden spurt in the increasing spread of the resurgent coronavirus pandemic, the State Government of Tamil Nadu had announced 100% lockdown imposition in the nights from 20th April throughout the State. Accordingly, the 100% lockdown will be from 10.00 PM to 4.00 AM!
A list of restricted and available facilities as per the announced lockdown impositions:
· Rental autos, taxis and private taxi services will be permitted to operate for carrying passengers to emergency medical requirements, and the Railway Stations and Airports.
· Daily Newspaper distribution, hospitals, medical testing centres, pharmacies, and ambulances and death-carrying vehicle services will all be permitted!
· Workers from the social networking media and the press may continue their work in the nights as well!
· Petrol & Diesel bunks will continue to function.
· Factories/Industries/Organisations which produce essential services and products will be permitted to operate in the night during lockdown conditions. Further, the employees attending night-shift duty in these organisations, security personnel in private companies, with authorised Identity Cards or Permission Letter from eh relevant authorities will be allowed to attend duty from the residence to the workplace and back!
Facilities which wont function/functions not permitted during the lockdown:
Private and public transportation, autos, taxis and private transport agencies will not operate.
The Public and Private Transport to other districts or states will not BE PERMITTED FROM 10.00 PM TO 4.00 AM.
