Anna University: Open Book Semester exams for engineering students

The semester examinations for the engineering students are scheduled to be conducted in May. Due to the resurgent coronavirus spreading fast and wide throughout the country, Anna University conducted an online semester examinations with special software made from the previous semester examination question papers!
In this situation, Anna University has come up with a new format THE STUDENTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO BRING AND REFER THE RELEVANT TEXTBOOKS IN THE EXAMINATION CENTRE WHILE WRITING THE ONLINE EXAMINATIONS!
As per this, the engineering students will be allowed to bring and use their relevant subject books during the semester examinations to be conducted in May.
At the same time, the question papers have been set in such a way that the students would require a full understanding of the questions asked instead of the usual format of direct questions!
As per this, if the students have any doubts regarding the question, they can refer to the books and then answer!
Similarly, Anna University has also announced THAT THE STUDENTS WILL BE PERMITTED TO USE THE INTERNET DURING THE EXAMINATIONS!
