Resurgent corona spreading like lightning -cautions citizens : Red alert from GCC Commissioner

The Greater Chennai Corporation Commissioner has alerted the Chennai Metro City citizens that the resurgent coronavirus has been spreading at lightning speed! He informed that even when there are very mild symptoms to be affected with coronavirus infection, the concerned citizens are immediately tested for infection and treated if required!
The Commissioner of the Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) had a session with the press reporters. He shared: “The resurgent coronavirus has been spreading at great speed throughout the country. The situation of the resurgent coronavirus is especially more acute in the Chennai Metro City and this situation is indeed causing extreme anxiety! GCC has undertaken house-to-house visits to check the situation/developments! CITIZENS MAY PLEASE NOTE IT IS WELL-KNOWN THAT THIS RESURGENT CORONAVIRUS SPREADS MAINLY BECAUSE OF NOT WEARING FACE MASKS! HENCE, I APPEAL TO THE CITIZENS TO STRICTLY ADHERE TO THE GUIDELINE TO WEAR FACE MASKS! AND FOLLOW ALL OTHER GUIDELINES AS WELL!”
HIGHLIGHTS: Even when there are only minor symptoms observed, tests are taken and treatment administered if required! Citizens having fever or headache or other symptoms MUST APPROACH THE NEAREST HOSPITAL IMMEDIATELY! The alarming situation the resurgent coronavirus is spreading at lightning speed without any indication whatever!!
Note: Coronavirus infection can be detected by testing the oxygen content in the blood!
The Commissioner of GCC further said, “Further, 12000 volunteers are engaged in the coronavirus monitoring activities! These self-volunteers undertake to do the tests for the citizens with headache, fever, or loss of sensing smell. Apart from the hospitals, ‘SCREENING CENTRES’ have been set up in 12 zones in the Chennai Metro City. The present 80 medical camps are planned to be increased to 8000! PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO GET VACCINATED- NOTE THAT 10 LAKHS CITIZENS HAVE GOT VACCINATED! As there are 15 lakhs vaccines in stock, there are plans afoot to get more citizens to get vaccinated!”
