A Chennai based pet themed restaurant ‘Twisty Tails’ is making many heads turn now!!
It has been 3 years since this amazing restaurant was opened for the people of Chennai. In this restaurant, the visitors would be able to play with dogs and puppies and could feel relaxed. Just recently, the owners of Twisty Tails have launched a new section called Kitty Love. Now, the customers could walk in and play with the cats and kittens to get relaxation.
The founder Rekha Dandey spoke about how south India’s first cat cafe has been attracting customers now. She mentioned about the launching of both puppies and kitten sections together but logistics issues have come in the way. Puppy`s section was started first. She then added that her husband Vikram has been a cat lover and due to that reason the kitten section was also launched.
It must be taken into account that the Alwarpet based pet themed restaurant is South India’s first cat cafe. Already the puppy love room in this restaurant is famous and the customers have been playing with 16 dogs of breeds like Shih Tzu, Havanese, Tibetian Spaniel etc. The kitty section would have different types of cats of breeds such as Indian, Himalayan, British Shorthair, Persian etc.
Truth is that no prior booking is needed but just a limited number of people would be admitted due to the current Covid-019 pandemic situation. Many studies in the past have brought to light that pets especially cats and dogs could reduce stress. By spending time with pets, a person could get relaxation. It is true that when we play with poets our oxytocin levels would become more and stress would get reduced. This was the main concept on which the pet themed restaurant has been built. The couple are hoping that in future many cat lovers in Chennai would be visiting this restaurant.
