Birthday of former spiritual speaker Kripananda Variyar to become government function.

The younger generations now might not have known about the great spiritual speaker Kripananda Variyar.
Born in the year 1906 in Kangeyanallur in Vellore district, Kripananda variyar was a Shaivite spiritual teacher who had played a huge role in the rebuilding and in the completion of works on many temples in Tamil Nadu. He grabbed many eyeballs when the atheist movement was at peak in Tamil Nadu and at that time he helped to sustain and re-establish Hinduism in Tamil Nadu. He passed away at the age of 87 in the year 1993.
On Tuesday, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. E. Palaniswamy commenced his election campaign in Vellore district (Birthplace of Kripananda Variyar).He announced that the birthday of Kripananda Variyar would be a government function. He then added that the farmers whose crop loans were waived would receive their receipts within 10 to 15 days.
The Chief Minister assured that Tamil Nadu would have 2 weaver’s parks or Nesavalar’s poonga that were sanctioned after he had met the Prime Minister of India. He then spoke about Sholingur getting a bypass road in the future. It must be noted that yesterday CM was campaigning at Padianallur in Sholingur Assembly constituency in Ranipet district. He then threw light on how Tamil Nadu led the nation in organ replacement surgery.
