LIC provides scholarships for students - Last date for applying - 31st December

It has been recently announced that on behalf of the Life Insurance Corporation’s Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme, scholarship will be offered to the students in the economically backward community. The last date for applying for this is 31st December.
On behalf of the Committee for the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the country’s premier Insurance Concern, the Life Insurance Corporation of India, scholarships will be offered on a country-wide basis for the boys/girls students in 10th & 12th Standards having scored a minimum of 60% for the academic year 2019-20.
In each of LIC’s Divisional Offices, 29 students (boys and girls at 10 each) from the economically weaker communities will be chosen and offered a scholarship. Further, a special scholarship from each LIC Zonal Office will be offered to the students studying in the 10th, +1 & +2 course system.
This scholarship is provided for the students (boys & girls) who pursue medical, engineering, and other graduate courses in government approved institutions.
To get this scholarship, candidates will have to apply online before 31st December.
