Prospects for heavy rains in 8 districts!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of a low-pressure zone to be formed over the southeast Arabian Sea in the next 48 hours.
It is further informed that as the low-pressure zone is formed over the southeast Arabian Sea, the prospects for rains in Tamil Nadu will be quite less! At the same time, there are still prospects for heavy rains in 7 districts in Tamil Nadu due to development of cyclonic format in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the Kanyakumari Ocean Zone.
The 7 districts with prospects of heavy rains due to cyclonic format effect are Ramanathapuram, Thirunelveli, Thoothukkudi, Kanyakumari, Virudhunagar, Thenkasi, and Pudhukkottai.
