Draft Voters list indicates 6.1 Crores voters in the State of Tamil Nadu!

With the stage set for the release of the draft voters’ list in the state of Tami Nadu, there are 6.1044 Crores voters.
With the scheduled Genera Elections for the Tamil Nadu State |Legislative Assembly after the next 5 months, the draft voters’ list in the state has been released district-wise.
As per this, there are 61044358 voters in this state. Out of this, male voters are 30112320. Female voters are 30925603. The number of third gender voters is 6385. There are 813233 more female voters as compared to men.
Sholinganallur Legislative Constituency has the maximum number of voters in the state – 655000.
The constituency of Keezhavelur in Thiruvarur district has the minimum number of voters – 173107.

If any inclusion/deletion, correction of names, change of address, change of constituency, etc., is required, one can apply to the Zonal Officer before 15th December.
Apart from this, special camps are scheduled to be organised in the respective polling booths to carry out the above on 21st & 22nd November and 12th & 13th December. The public can undertake these activities in these camps.
As per the release of the draft voters’ list in the Chennai Metro City, there are 39.40 Lakhs, voters, in the 16 General Assembly Constituencies. As per this, there are 1939694 male voters and 1999995 female voters in the Chennai Metro City. There are 1015 other voters. So, in total, there are 3940407 voters in the Chennai Metro City.
