Chennaites now want to go outside their homes for vacations to beat stress

Being inside the homes for a long time is really boring!!
It is now revealed that the Chennai residents now want to go out of their homes for vacations. A well deserved trip is on the minds of many Chennai residents now and they are only waiting for the Coronavirus to reduce further. The trip could either be for work purposes or for personal vacation.
It was brought to light by the study published by Inter Miles that 63% of Chennai residents are looking forward to travel inside India and 25% to abroad countries in the next 6 months. Eleven percent of the people in Chennai were ready to leave their homes in just a month. Truth is international travel plans would be on hold until a vaccine is developed.
The study also clearly mentioned that 45% respondents were open to travel to domestic destinations (with less travel time) that would be easily accessible and 7% were ready to travel long international distances with increased travel time. This was pointed out by Mr. Kaushal Satam, SVP, products and operations Inter Miles.
It must be noted that many locals have travelled to Mahabalipuram as short trips for a weekend. Once when the travel restrictions were released a few travelled to their hometowns to be with their families is known.
It is now said that for international travel many prefer to go to closer destinations with strong Covid-19 response from the governing bodies. The reason for selecting closer destinations was due to the travel restrictions across the world.
