Onion price comes down!!

The price of (big) onion has come down in the Chennai Metro City- from Rs. 80 per kg to Rs. 65 per kg.
In recent times, the quantity of the bigger onion arriving from Maharashtra State had reduced thus creating a shortage leading to selling at Rs. 80 per kg in Chennai Metro City.
In this situation, the quantity of onions arriving at Chennai Koyambedu wholesale vegetable/flower/fruit market has increased substantially. Subsequently, the price of big onion had come down from yesterday’s (19th |October) price of Rs. 80 per kg to Rs. 65 per kg today (20th |October).
As regards the other veg3etabes, prices keep fluctuating!
