Next Phase of Lockdown until 31st October: New relaxations!

Details of relaxations and continuing bans on the next Phase of Lockdown imposition until 31st October:
Ban continues for:
- Academic Initiations including all schools, colleges, and research organisations.
- International flights
- Suburban electric train operations
- Gathering of the crowd on religious, political, and entertainment avenues
- Movie theatres, swimming pools, amusement/entertainment parks, large auditoriums, and conference halls
- Beaches, zoological parks, museums, and tourism spots/resorts
Relaxation declared for:
- Tea-shops and other eateries (hotels, etc) can function from 6.00 AM to 9.00 PM
- Parcels allowed in teashops and eateries until 10.00 PM
- A maximum of 100 persons allowed gathering for film shootings
- Permission granted for up to 100 domestic flights landing in Chennai Airport
- Permission already granted for Coimbatore, Trichy, Madurai, Thoothukkudi, and Salem airports will continue.
- Government and Government-related Training Institutes allowed functioning
- Weekly trade fairs/markets allowed in local Panchayat areas and cities
