COVID count to increase in TN after easing of the norms, doubling time to come down

It was about 173 day back Tamil Nadu reported the first ever Coronavirus infection case. Since then, the numbers have been on the rise and it has reached 4lakhs now.
According to Prabhdeep Kaur, deputy director of National Institute of Epidemiology, the milestone of 4lakh Coronavirus cases was sad. She hinted that TN must be prepared for even more cases of Coronavirus cases. Currently, Prabhdeep Kaur is on state task force to combat Coronavirus infection is well known.
On Thursday, 27th August, there were as many as5981 fresh cases in TN and the total number of cases stands at 403202 till now. As many as109 persons have succumbed to this infection and this took the total number of deaths to 6948 in TN. In the state of TN, there are as many as 52364 people still undergoing treatment for Coronavirus infection. The epicentre of TN is Chennai and in Chennai there are 13450 patients under treatment.
The deputy director of NIE then spoke about how the relaxation of lockdown by slow opening of business, public transport, cinema theatres, malls etc would increase the number of Coronavirus infection cases. Truth is doubling time might come down. It must be noted that in countries like Germany, Spain and Japan (that are regarded as best performing) the cases have shot up after the lockdown was relaxed.
In the absence of a drug of choice and vaccine, the only tools left are aggressive testing, isolation of positive cases and early treatment. In the month of August, TN witnessed 1.57 lakhs fresh or new Covis-19 positive cases and more than 3000 deaths.
As per Mr. J. Radhakrishnan, health secretary of TN, Corona cases might increase but the doctors have got enough experience in handling the situation now. He mentioned that the state of TN has been working out ways to reduce the deaths.
