In India, after Delhi, TN has more number of people recovered from COVID infection

The Union Health Ministry has confirmed that in India the state of TN is second in terms of the recovery rate. Point is Tamil Nadu has got a recovery rate of 85% after Delhi with recovery rate of 91%.
It has been pointed out by ICMR that India has been continuously stepping up its Covid-19 testing facility. Information collected is tests done per million population, have touched a new high of 27000. After Delhi and TN, Bihar was ranked at three in the recovery rate of 83.8 percent.
The state of Bihar is followed by Daman and Diu with a recovery rate of 82.6%. The recovery rate of Dadra and Nagar Haveli is also 82.6% and is followed by the state of Haryana with a recovery rate of 82.1% and Gujarat with a recovery rate of 80.2%.
In a tweet, the Union health Ministry said that early identification of the infection through aggressive testing plus comprehensive surveillance, contact tracing and focus on timely and efficient treatment of the infected patients have ensured a high number of speedy recoveries.
The Case Fatality Rate or CFR has been kept low. It is important to mention that in the list of CFR the state of Assam with 0.27% is on the top and is followed by Kerala with 0.39% and Odisha with 0.51%.
In another tweet, the Union Ministry has mentioned that many Union territories and states have performed better and have more encouraging figures than the national average for the recovery rate and fatality rate.
