The Commissioner of Greater Chennai Police has sent the following notification:
Due to the prevailing lockdown conditions as a preventive measure against the spread of the raging coronavirus pandemic, the public is not in a position to visit the Commissioner Office to register their grievances.
As such, the public cane the WhatsApp Number 6369 100 100 every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in each week between 12.00 Noon to 1.00 PM.\
Accordingly, this new facility is set to be inaugurated today being a Friday (3rd July)!
So, the public can use the above-mentioned WhatsApp number and have a video-session to submit the complaints from 12.00 Noon to 1.00 PM.
Greater Chennai Police appeals to all Chennai Citizens to use this video WhatsApp facility and submit their complaints about attention and corrective action thus availing this facility and benefiting from it!
