All special trains from Tamil Nadu cancelled until 15th July!

Southern Railway has announced that the 7 special trains operated in Tamil Nadu State are being cancelled until 15th July.
Special trains were being operated Coimbatore - Mayiladuthurai, Madurai - Villupuram, Trichy - Nagercoil, Coimbatore - Katpadi, Trichy - Chengalpattu Main, and Arakonam - Coimbatore.
These trains were operated for both onward and return travel. In this situation, considering the recent phenomenal increase in the impact/intensity of the coronavirus pandemic in the State of Tamil Nadu over the last few weeks, it has been announced that all the 7 special trains as above-mentioned are being cancelled until 15th July.
For te3h passengers who had already booked for travel in the above period on the above 7 trains, a full refund will be given. For the passengers who had booked online, the full refund amount will be credited to the respective banks.
For the passengers who procured the tickets through ticket counters, they can get the refund within 6 months from the proposed date of travel.
