Functioning of banks during 100% lockdown!

100% lockdown conditions have been imposed in the 4 districts of Chennai, Chingleput, Kanchipuram, and Thiruvallur as a preventive measure to check the spread of the raging coronavirus pandemic. As such, it has been announced that for the essential services organizations/companies, the banks will function until 2.00 PM.
In a notification released by the State-level Bankers’ Association, it is mentioned that in the 4 districts where 100% lockdown is imposed, the banks will function from 10.00 AM to 2.00 PM from 19th June to 26th June.
It is further announced that THERE WILL BE NO BANKING SERVICES FORT THE PUBLIC DURING THE ABOVE PERIOD AND THE SERVICES OFFERED WILL BE EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE ESSENTIAL ORGANISATIONS!
It is further noted that the banks will function as per the above timings on 29th and 30th June. All the ATMs and money deposit machines will function.
