Stringent testing in Chennai and neighbor districts!

The police stopped and warned all the 2-wheelers and 4-wheelers which tried to move out of Chennai without e-pass and made them return.
As the impact/intensity of the raging coronavirus spread is more and increasing in the Chennai Metro City, all vehicle movements are being stringently checked in the district borders.
In the tests carried out by the Police in the Vandalur zone, all the vehicles trying to cross the Chennai border without e-pass were made to return. Some vehicles were seized.
At the same time, as sufficient testing/checking facilities were not available in the border areas such as Perungalathur, the vehicles from other districts, vehicles that violated the guidelines could enter the Chennai Metro City border quite easily!
As such, there is a demand that all vehicles entering the Chennai District via these border areas must be checked properly!
