1515 more persons confirmed COVID-19 positive in Tamil Nadu!

Over the last 24 hours, 1515 more persons have been confirmed with coronavirus infection.
Tamil Nadu State has been experiencing increasing impact/intensity of the raging coronavirus pandemic in the last few weeks.
As such, now, 1515 more [ersons have been affected.
The State Department of Health has declared that up to now, the number of affected has gone beyond 48000!
2 persons, who returned from Malaysia and Qatar, have been confirmed COVID-19 positive.
Further, including 25 persons who came from Maharashtra, , 10 from Rajasthan, who returned to Tamil Nadu by air/road/train, 59 persons have been confirmed positive.
In an unprecedented development, coronavirus has snatched 49 lives on a single day. Out of these, 35 died in government hospitals, and 14 died in private hospitals.
In Tamil Nadu, the number of deaths due to coronavirus has now crossed 500!
In the total 79 laboratories, 18242 samples have been tested over the last 24 hours.
Out of the patients under treatment, 1438 patients have recovered and returned home. Until now, the number of persons who have recovered from infection has crossed 26000. 20700 patients are under treatment.
As for the last 24 hours, no infections have been reported in 5 districts. So far, 2444 children under the age of 12 years have been affected.
The number of persons affected in the age group 13 to 60 has crossed 40000!
5664 persons of over 60 years of age have been confirmed positive.
From 26th May till 15th June, out of the people who reached Chennai, Trichy, Coimbatore, and Madurai by domestic flights, 99 persons have been affected with coronavirus.
Out of the persons who arrived from international flights from 9th May in Tamil Nadu, 215 persons have been confirmed with coronavirus. Out of the people who reached Tamil Nadu by train from 14th May, 327 persons have been confirmed with coronavirus.
Out of the persons who reached Tamil Nadu by road from 19th May 1576 persons have been confirmed with coronavirus.
Out of the persons who reached Tamil Nady by sea from 1st June, 5 persons have been confirmed with coronavirus.
