Details of treatment charges to be given by private hospitals for COVID-19 infection

The State Government of Tamil Nadu has released a notification regarding the treatment charges per day for the COVID-19 infection treatment in private hospitals.
As per this, the patients with no symptoms or very mild symptoms in the General Ward of Classes 1 & 2 may be charged Rs. 7,500 per day and for General Wards of Classes 3 & 4, it will be Rs. 5,000 per day. For the treatment in Intensive Care Units (ICUs), it will be Rs. 15,000 per day.
As such, the combined activities undertaken for the medical treatment by the government and private hospitals for the well-being and good health of the public, the present joint treatment efforts against the raging coronavirus pandemic will get strengthened further!
