New rule from 1st June: cooking oil must be sold only in packets!

The State Government of Tamil Nadu has ordered that that COOKING OIL MUST BE SOLD ONLY IN PACKETS FROM 1ST JUNE.
Various types of cooking oils, including gingely oil and groundnut oil, are sold both in packets and in loose smaller quantities in retail.
Complaints were received in this regard that the oil sold is adulterated mixed with other harmful items.
As a measure to prevent this adulteration cooking oil sold in retail, the State Government of Tamil Nadu has ordered that cooking oil MUST NOT BE SOLD IN LOOSE QUANTITIES IN RETAIL!
