Public transport resumption mooted on 20th May?

Information is gathered that the once the lockdown imposition concludes, the central government is planning to introduce the public transport services – road, train, and air – in a gradual manner.

The information mentions that the public transport services may resume by 20th May as the present lockdown imposition is set to conclude on 17th May.

Subsequently, it is also gathered that permissions will be given to open all the religious places shopping malls, theatres, marriage halls, and other public places from 1st June!

The central Home Ministry has been conducting a review session on this issue with the state governments regarding resumption of public transport services with certain restrictions.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had 6 successive discussions with the central finance ministers, Finance – Nirmala Seetharaman, and Home – Amit Shah – regarding the economic recovery of the country. Information is gathered that a decision was taken to offer substantial incentives to the industry sector to redeem the situation and be back to normal working schedules!

It is gathered (from the government circle personnel) that the higher officials are earnestly engaged in finalizing the above plans and announcements may be made soon by the central government.

After the imposition of the lockdown condition on 24th March, the central government has announced various concessions worth Rs. 170000 Crores.

Subsequently, appeals were made from the concerned sectors that the announced concessions will NOT BE SUFFICIENT for the redemption of the economy. So, it is gathered that the central government is all set to announce another set of concessions shortly!
