Fish festival from Thursday

‘Tanfish 2013’ is being organized by the State Fisheries Department. The fair that showcases anything to do with fisheries will be held on Island Grounds from May 9th. The fair will be held at a dome that measures half a kilometer and will be centrally air conditioned.
Popular seafood dishes will served at the food court. The dishes will be from the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. ‘The theme of the festival is ‘Fish for Health’. There will also be live demos by chefs on preparation of recipes that use fresh water and sea fish’, said an official press release.
