IFMR GSB at Krea University moves MBA admissions online

In a move to respond swiftly to the fast-evolving ongoing situation, IFMR Graduate School of Business has adapted its admission process to online mode. With a robust assessment and scheduling mechanism, the Business School prepared itself to conduct all admission interviews between 13 to 20 April 2020.
Reinforced by extensive involvement from the faculty, the aim was to ensure a seamless and hassle-free process. The decision was taken after several test runs and mock drills by the teams at the University.
Amidst the challenges that mar the admission process across various business schools, IFMR GSB happens to be one of the first few to take this decisive step. The opening day of the interview saw an extensively positive attendance from aspirants.
“The process went smooth with a 90% turnout on the first day of the interview”, remarked the Admissions Team.
Enduring tough times with vigilance, the University is leaving no stone unturned to provide equal access of opportunity to each aspiring student, spread across the expanse of the country. Some of the candidates who appeared for the interview were from remote locations such as Jhansi, Chandanagar, Jhabua amongst others.
Meanwhile, IFMR GSB, Krea University recently released its final placement report for the MBA batch of 2018-20. The highest salary bagged by the batch is Rs. 13.6 lacs per annum. The average salary took a leap from the previous year’s Rs. 8.67 lacs per annum to Rs. 9.41 lacs per annum, this year. Median salary for the two-year MBA is Rs. 9.50 lacs per annum.
From the batch of 2017-19 onward, IFMR Graduate School of Business, Krea University has been offering the MBA program in Finance, Marketing, IT, Operations, HR, and Strategic Management, with additional specializations in Banking Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) & Data Sciences (Business Analytics).
