The district administration has announced that till 27th April 2020 there would be complete lock down in Perambalur district. Strict warning has been issued regarding opening of the shops in this lock down time period. People have been asked not to come out of their houses.
The reason for the lock down in Perambalur district was due to two persons testing positive for Corona virus recently. It is known that Perambalur district is an administrative district belonging to TN and the district occupies an area of 1752 sq kms.
