3 lakhs rapid test kits for coronavirus checking from China are reaching India today (Thursday, 15th April).
The kits were cleared and allowed by the customs officials at KwangsuWo port to Delhi are expected to reach India today.
India is likely to get 20 to 30 Lakhs rapid test kits in the next 1 or 2 weeks. Actually, several countries have rejected the China-made testing kits as of low quality. Subsequently, the Chinese Government prepared a list of good quality manufacturers of these kits.
As the test kits were to be tested and approved, there was a delay in transporting them.
