Now, Corona Monitoring app downloaded by 1 lakh people

Last week, Chennai Corporation grabbed many eyeballs when it released Corona Monitoring application.
It is now brought out that this app has been downloaded by one lakh people. Point is 623 persons have made use of this app to report the Corona virus symptoms. As a result, the doctors visited the homes of these 623 persons and found that none was affected with Covid-19.
From the website named "GCC Corona Monitoring", people would be able to download this app and they could use the app to report if they have any symptoms of Corona virus.
In the next step, the corporation staffs would visit the houses of the patients and help them to undertake tests for Corona virus infection. The information is if any senior person or those who are differently able are unable to use this app then in those cases the neighbors could take a picture of these person houses. By using geo location feature, the corporation would follow up.
