Electric train services (Beach - Chengalpattu) cancelled half-way!

As scheduled maintenance work is in progress in the Chengalpattu Railway Workshop, the suburban electric train services from Chennai Beach to Chengalpattu have been cancelled for half-the-way.
Announcement by Southern Railway:
The electric trains starting from Chennai Beach to Chengalpattu at 9.02 AM, 9.20 AM, 9.32 AM, 10.08 AM, and 10.56 AM will operate only up to Singaperumal Koil today (12th) and tomorrow (13th).
The suburban electric trains starting from Chengalpattu to Chennai Beach at 10.55 AM, 11.30 AM, 12.20 PM, and 1.00 PM are cancelled in the section Chengalpattu - Singaperumal Koil (today (12th) and tomorrow (13th). These trains will operate between Singaperumal Koil and Chennai Beach.
The suburban electric trains starting from Chengalpattu to Gummidipundi at 10.00 AM is cancelled between Chengalpattu - Singaperumal Koil today (12th) and tomorrow (13th). This train will operate from Singaperumal Koil to Gummidipundi.
