Chennai District collector: Differently-abled can apply for training-cum-job opportunities

In a recent notification sent by the Chennai District Collector Seethalakshmi regarding job opportunities for differently-abled, it  mentions:

Through the state government department of differently-abled welfare, training on a variety of subjects is imparted to them to provide job opportunities.

A short-term 2-month training programme is being organised exclusively for the differently-abled persons through the company, ‘Youth 4 Jobs’ by the Office of the Chennai District differently-abled Welfare, Chennai for candidates who are in the age group 18-35 with a deficiency in hand/leg operations or hearing or vision impaired with the academic qualifications of having passed 10th Standard or above. After that, these candidates who have undergone training will be presented with the prospects of a job in the private sector industry.

As per above, the differently-abled candidates interested in joining the short-term 2-month training programme can submit their applications along with copies of required documents/certificates to District differently-abled Welfare Officer, Government suburban hospital, K.K.Nagar, Chennai - 600078, within a week.
