All meat shops to be closed on 8th February

On the occasion of the memorial day of Ramalinga Adigalar, all meat shops/godowns under the jurisdiction of Greater Chennai Corporation (General Health Department) will remain closed.
In a similar vein, it has been ordered that all shops selling meats of goats, cows and other meat items including Departmental stores or supermarkets must not sell these items and sales of these items must remain closed. All shop owners are requested to cooperate to make this order a success.
