Getting a well-paid job in United Kingdom hospitals would have been a dream for many qualified nurses, doctors and paramedics in TN. This dream might become a reality for them soon.

Through the NHS or National Health System, the state of TN would help many qualified nurses, doctors and paramedics belonging to private sectors in TN to get jobs in the United Kingdom.

For the sake of recruiting qualified nurses under the NHS, just 2 weeks back the OMCL or Overseas Manpower Corporation Ltd belonging to TN state government had signed a memorandum of understanding or MoU with the Health Education of England.

It is now brought out that the aim behind the initiative of OMCL was to generate employment and to create opportunities for the TN nurses to undergo training in state-of-art healthcare facilities.

It was later revealed by the officials that when the nurses come back to TN after their training they would add value to the healthcare system of TN with their exposure.

Mr Dharmendra Pratap Yadav, chairman and managing director of OMCL, expressed his thoughts and spoke about the huge demand for qualified nurses in the UK. He hinted that the UK has been recruiting about 5000 nurses every year. For those nurses working in the private sector, this would be an amazing opportunity. Information gathered is this MoU would be effective for 3 years of time.

It is known that many nurses working in private sectors apply for jobs in hospitals in foreign countries as they get higher salaries and superb training. The chairman later threw light on how every year OMCL would send atleast 500 nurses to the UK and how doctors and paramedic would also be sent to the UK. British Council would train the nurses who have been shortlisted for grade 7 of IELTS and the agency has linked with British Council for this purpose.

For many qualified nurses working in TN, the English language is a barrier. For selecting the candidates who could converse well in English, an interview would be conducted and hey would be registered for IELTS course that would be free of cost.
