Circular regarding special classes for 8th Standard students

The Directorate of Primary Education of Tamil Nadu State Government has sent a circular to all the school headmasters/principals.
This circular instructs that special classes for the duration of an hour must be conducted in the evenings from Monday to Friday in the evenings for the students of 8th Standard who would be writing Public Examination.
Model question papers must be prepared for a total of 30 marks covering the lessons for the 1st 2 terms and tests must be conducted every day!
However, the academicians have protested very strongly on this issue observing that this exercise would cause undue
Timetable for Public Examination
The public examination for the students of the 5th Standard is scheduled to be conducted from 15th April 2020 to 20th April 2020.
The question paper on 15th April would be on the subject of Tamil. On 17th April, it would be English. On 20th April, it would be in Mathematics.
The public examination for the 8th Standard is scheduled to be conducted from 30th March to 17th April 2020.
The subject on 30th March would be Tamil. On 2nd April, it would be English. On 8th April, it would be Mathematics. On 15th April, it would be in Science. On 17th April, it would be on Social Science.
