AC buses to operate by Chennai Metro Transport Department from today!

Facilitating even the economically backward public, air-conditioned buses are to be operated on behalf of the Chennai Metro City Transport Corporation from today (Friday, 10th January).
The minimum fare for travelling in the air-conditioned bus from Koyambed to Siruseri is Rs. 15 and the maximum fare is Rs. 60.
In the air-conditioned bus operating from Tambaram to Thiruvanmiyur, the minimum fare is Rs. 15 and the maximum fare is Rs. 45.
With this inaugural step, the Chennai Metro City Transport Corporation has announced that that the balance 46 air-conditioned buses will soon be operated in other routes.
