Delivery time of LPG cylinders reduced and cylinders are delivered in just one day

Getting LPG Cylinders many days after booking would soon become a thing of past in Chennai.
Beginning from Tamil New Year’s day, the state-owned Indian Oil would be delivering booked LPG cylinders in just one day. It is known that the domestic LPG cylinders are subsidized by the union government. The delivery of these cylinders usually takes 3 to 4 days after booking.
Increasing the customer’s satisfaction is very important and for this, the delivery time of LPG cylinders would be reduced. This would make customers very happy. For this, Indian oil has embarked upon a programme along with the distributors.
The LPG cylinders would be delivered in a maximum of 24 hours from booking a refill. This has been mentioned by Mr P. Jayadevan, executive director, Indian Oil, TN and Puducherry. He spoke about how Indian Oil wanted the customers to use Indian oil app or Whatsapp for booking the LPG cylinders.
He hinted that digital payments would be highly beneficial for everybody. Information collected is if the LPG cylinders were not delivered in 24 hours then the customers could call toll free numbers and lodge their complaint. In India, TN has got highest LPG penetration with nearly 99.7% coverage and Indian Oil covers 57% of TN LPG households.
