Tata NANO car manufacture and sales!

The country’s leading private sector automobile giant, TATA Motors had introduced their latest model ‘NANO’ as the people’s car. However, not even a single unit of NANO was manufactured during 2019! Further, only a single car was sold in February. During 2018, 82 cars were manufactured in the month of December alone! Totally, 88 cars were sold.
During 2019, a total of 66 cars were manufactured during the month of November and 77 cars were sold.
However, during 2019, not even a single car was manufactured or sold! As such, Tata has not made any announcement regarding the decisions taken on this issue.
‘Bharath Stage’ Rules and Regulations are to be implemented from 1st April this year.
It is worth noting at this juncture that TATA has not taken any action to follow the above Rules and Regulations.
As per the status detailed above, it is generally observed that with no decisions taken on any further investments, NANO may come to a close by April this year!
