There would be metro trains till 1 AM in Chennai

CMRL or Chennai Metro Rail Limited would be operating metro train services till 1 AM on 1st January 2020. The main purpose was to cater to the revellers to return back to their places of destinations.
From 11 pm on 31st December, till 1 AM on 1st January 2020, metro trains would be operated with a frequency of 28 minutes without peak-hour operation. This was mentioned in a press release from CMRL.
On both the corridors, Washermenpet to the airport (blue line) and Central metro to St Thomas Mount metro (green line), there would be metro trains for the sake of people. It must be taken into account that the metro trains would be operated between Central metro and airport on the green line through CMBT. It is well known that CMRL is the third-largest metro system in India and it started its service in Chennai in the year 2015.
