Heavy-duty vehicles licence: minimum qualification cancelled in new Motor Vehicles Act

The condition of minimum qualification of 8th Standard pass for obtaining the heavy-duty vehicles driving licence has been removed under the revised new Motor Vehicles Act.
The central government has removed this clause on qualification.
This comes into effect in the state of Tamil Nadu from today (Friday, 1st November).
