Metro Rail announces special concession of 50%!

CMRL (Chennai Metro Rail Limited) has announced a special Holidays concession of 50%.
With the increasing trend of heavy traffic congestion growth in Chennai, there is a substantial increase in the number of passengers for the Chennai Metro Rail.
As regards the Chennai Metro Rail, people who work in offices, institutes, shops, factories, etc., who commuted 6-7 days a week are availing the Chennai Metro Rail. In this situation, concessions on fares were announced for the weekends.
A notification by Chennai Metro Rail in this regard mentioned:
‘Exclusive for the benefit of the Chennai Metro City residents, a special 50% concession on the fares is announced on all Sundays (commencing from 27th October) and the government declared public holidays. Further, this concession will not be applicable for the passengers with Trip Pass and unlimited pass.
