Theatres, multiplexes, restaurants in Chennai to be closed

Many arrangements are being done so that this meeting could take place without any hassle.
The latest news is multiplexes and other theatres located on the route that Chinese president Mr. Xi Jinping would take to reach Mamallapuram would be closed.
On Friday, 11th October, PVR that has got 5screen n ECR would be closed. It was later confirmed by a source belonging to the film fraternity that most theatres on the belt would start once again after 4pm in the evening. It must be noted that the famous Mayajaal Entertainment would also be closed on Friday. For Friday and for the first half of Saturday, Mayajaal Entertainment did not allow bookings.
Important point to be noted is many restaurants situated in the belt would also be closed and would be opened only after the meeting between the top two personalities gets over. It was later revealed by a restaurant owner that people would mostly remain in their homes during the meeting due to heavy police bandobast. Hence the decision to close the restaurants was taken.
Another restaurant owner spoke about how his restaurant would be closed but food would be served through back door. He added that he cannot afford to close his restaurant the whole day. It must be taken into account that there are over 500 big as well as small restaurants along the OMR and ECR in Chennai.
