The most prominent complaint from smartphone users is the short duration time of the battery. This complaint is rather universal whatever be the brand and model! Further, as the battery gets old, its retention of the charged power reduced gradually. It is not possible to tell when exactly the battery stops working! Sometimes, the battery may just struggle to keep the gadget alive!
When the iPhone batteries started mal operating in the year 2017, the customers rather duly ‘pasted’ the company Apple! Apple conceded the point and apologized while promising to enhance battery performance.
In this scenario, experts have given some suggestions to maintain the battery performance/capacity and to extend the time of service of the charge.
- Keep the software on the cell updated regularly. Smartphones such as the iPhone and Samsung keep informing the users to keep the software updated regularly. Though this might be slightly irritating, it is still better to keep updating the software. This helps enhance the battery life.
- The smartphone contains the details of the charge consumed by the Apps. It is better to keep the Apps consuming higher charges only while using them and otherwise keeping them off.
- High screen brightness level consumes more charge! So, keep the screen rather dim to enhance battery life.
- It is advisable to use the Wi-Fi internet facility rather than the internet service options given by the cellphone makers. The cell can even be kept even on the ‘aeroplane’ mode!
