Chennai based AC College of Technology to celebrate platinum jubilee

Over the years, one educational institute in Chennai has been producing top class technologists. We are now talking about the educational institute Alagappa College of Technology, Chennai or AC Tech.
Established in the year 1944, Alagappa College of Technology integrated with Anna University in the year 1978 is known.
The latest news is this popular AC Tech would be celebrating its platinum jubilee in the month of December 2019. It is worthy to mention here that a platinum jubilee celebrations committee is headed by Mr. N. Srinivasan (India Cements) with Mr. Venkatrama Raju (Ramco Systems), Mr. Srinivasan K Swamy of R.K. Swamy BBDO and Mr. Vidya Shankar president, AC Tech alumni association as members has been constituted.
It is superb to note that the highlight of the platinum jubilee celebrations would be honouring of alumni chosen by jury with ‘Distinguished Alumni ‘awards. Various jury members are Mr. M.S Ananth, former director IIT Madras, Mr. M.M. Murugappan of Murugappa Group, Mr. N. Sankar of Sanmar group, Mr. Subbarayan Krishnan, retired IAS officer and Mr. Meenakshi Sundaram , dean of AC Tech. It is mentioned that from actechalumni.org, nominations for the award could be downloaded. Many activities are planned starting from 20th December for 3 days and it includes multi disciplinary symposia and a ‘Make in India’ exhibition etc.
