Jobs for 1475 vacant Revenue Assistant posts in Tamil Nadu (government)

As per the order issued by the Tamil Nadu State Government Department of Revenue Administration Commissioner Sathyagopal, the Joint Administration Commissioner Lakshmi has sent letters to the district collectors of all the 32 district collectors.
Details of this letter :
There are 1475 vacant posts of Revenue Assistants throughout Tamil Nad. Action must be initiated to fill up these vacant posts in the current year 2019-20. Accordingly, the task of selection and recruitment of 91 Revenue Assistants has been entrusted to the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC). Now, TNPSC is expected to release an announcement regarding the same shortly.
Leaving aside the above 91 posts assigned to TNPSC, the balance 1384 vacant posts of Revenue Assistants are to be filled up by initiatives by the respective district collectors.
Accordingly, there are 140 vacancies in the Chennai District, 174 vacancies in Kanchipuram District, 80 vacancies in Thiruvallur District, and 55 vacancies in Coimbatore District. It is strictly mentioned that the selection/recruitment for these posts must be completed before the end of the current year 2019-20.
