The soil testing for the 2nd Phase of the Chennai Metro Rail Project has been completed in Chennai.
CMRL (Chennai Metro Rail Limited) has planned to commence the project construction work in the year 2020.
The 1st Phase of the Chennai Metro Rail Project has been completed and the Metro trains are being operated for public service.
Full-fledged activities are in progress for the extended section from Washermanpet to Wimco Nagar via Thiruvotriyur.
